The Denver Children’s Advocacy Center emerged in 1995 as a response to a pressing need identified by over 300 professionals in Denver. They voiced concerns that child victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence were being overlooked within a system meant to protect them. Today, the DCAC plays a pivotal role in coordinating a multidisciplinary team to address reports of child abuse. They offer crucial services such as crisis intervention, forensic interviews, assessment and treatment, and family support, impacting thousands of children and caregivers annually. DL Cohen proudly stands as a supporter of the Denver Children’s Advocacy Center.
